Abstract
Ganglioneuroma is a relatively rare benign tumor of the sympathetic nervous system. As imaging techniques such as computed tomography and ultrasonography have become more widely performed, the number of ganglioneuromas found incidentally has increased. Symptomatic ganglioneuromas are rare, but the symptoms mostly result from compression of the surrounding structures by the mass. However, some functioning tumor may secrete catecholamines and present with some clinical symptoms. Complete surgical excision of adrenal ganglioneuroma is the treatment of choice. Herein, we report one case of ganglioneuroma arising from the left adrenal gland in a 28-year-old male patient.
